Our mission is to educate, empower, and elevate specifically black and brown business owners, and entrepreneurs, by augmenting technical expertise, increasing access to capital, and stimulating business growth throughout Richmond. We are spearheading loan origination throughout Virginia with a “boots on the ground” approach to building relationships and generating new loan opportunities.

Loans That Change Lives
Established in 2005 as the world’s first personal micro-lending website, Kiva enables everyday people to pool lending contributions as little as $25 to provide financial access to entrepreneurs in developing communities across the globe. Since its beginning, serving loans to a handful of fishmongers in eastern Uganda, Kiva has grown to enable over 1.7M lenders worldwide to lend a combined $1.2B to more than 2.6M entrepreneurs in 89 countries around the world.
I am currently in the private lending period, and I need to make it onto the public platform where anyone on Kiva can lend to me. The idea behind this private lending period is to help prove my creditworthiness and build momentum in my campaign. Once I get my supporters to lend as little as $25, I can progress to the next phase where my business will be backed by Kiva’s wider community of 1.6mm lenders.
